November Classes
Our
classes are varied; hopefully they will inspire you to sign up ...we think you'll really enjoy taking them.
Scarf Class $30 Nov. 7 1pm, Nov. 19 6pm Doris Decorate a silk
scarf using stamps, fabric ink, lumiere paint and Perfect Pearls. I added this class because I'm beginning to think Christmas
and this scarf makes a perfect gift for someone special or maybe you'll want to keep it for yourself. The scarves are
really pretty...you select the color and then have fun making it even more beautiful. The scarf is included in the class cost.
Technique 3 $16 Nov. 10 1pm, Nov. 15 10am, Nov.
25 6pm Doris This class is a continuation of a series teaching you how to use a variety of mediums and techniques.
Technique 3 focuses on masking techniques, chalks, transparencies, shadow stamps, markers and vellum. You'll do each technique
using papers and tags and then back the tag up with the technique description (so you won't forget how you did it...like
I always do)
Christmas cards
$15 Nov. 17 1pm, Nov. 24 6pm, Nov. 26 1pm Doris Get in the Christmas spirit...you'll make 3 cards in this class...using
a variety of papers, stamps, glitter and techniques...send them to someone special for your Christmas wishes. You will wow
them. They will want to save your card forever.
Gift tag Class $14 Nov. 11 1pm, Nov. 19 10am, Nov. 24 10am Doris Who doesn't need tags for their gifts? Well your tag should be special too. what
could be better than a hand crafted gift tag? We'll make different shapes and size tags...some with their own matching
envelopes.
Handcrafted
Purse $20 Nov. 12 Sandy Sandy made the cutest, coolest purse and brought it to our October stamp club...(she's
an art teacher). I really loved it and asked if she would do a class...well guess what she said yes! Sandy is a Stampin'
up dealer who is very talented so I felt compelled to offer the class, even though that 'other" stamp company is
my biggest competitor. What can I say? I am just a giver plus this little purse is sooooo cool.
Ornament
Class $14 Nov. 5 1pm, Nov. 25 1pm Doris I love making
these ornaments. You'll decorate 3 glass balls...2 small and 1
medium size using paints, glitter glue, peel offs, markers and crystals...etc. etc. Oh boy is this fun and what a beautiful
unique gift to give someone.
Lorraine's
Salada Tea Box $16 Nov. 5 6pm, Nov. 22 10am Lorraine After
seeing these wonderful little boxes, many of you asked if Lorraine would teach this class. Of course she said yes...she's
really nice and talented too. These little boxes can be used in so many ways..the box alone is a great little gift on its
own, but you can also make the folded insert too. You can add pictures, sayings or whatever.
Iris folding $18 Nov. 7 10am, Nov. 17 6pm, Nov. 19 1pm, Nov. 29 10am Bonnie
I haven't offered this class in a long time. it is a perennial favorite.
If you do not know how to do iris folding take this class...you will love it! It is so much fun and the cards you'll make
will be spectacular. Someone told me they saw a framed iris folding for sale for $150 on a Vermont gift shop. (maybe we can
use our creations to get us thru this economic downturn.) Seriously, you will really enjoy this class and you know Bonnie
is a great teacher.
All of our classes
require pre-registration and pre-payment. Just register at the desk or call 315-823-0240. If you have a schedule conflict
just let us know and we will try and arrange an alternate time. If you missed one of our previous classes and still want to
take it we will try and accommodate you. As most of you know we are really flexible (I just wish my body were too). Hope to
