This site  The Web

Welcome to our web site!
Inky Fingers has been in business as a rubber stamping and scrapbooking store since 2004 and we pride ourselves on providing customers with outstanding service.  We offer a full range of rubber stamps and inks, scrapbooking papers, embellishments, adhesives, tools and other supplies.  We are always on the lookout for new stamping and scrapbooking materials and techniques not found in chain stores. Both novice and experienced paper crafters enjoy an ever changing roster of scrapbooking and stamping classes.  Our store is a friendly place to stop in, chat and maybe experiment with a new product.  Doris is usually on hand to help customers with ideas, techniques and new ways to express their creativity!

Where to find us
We are located in the historic area of Little Falls, NY.   Follow the signs from Thruway exit 29A to Canal Place and look for the Antique Center and The Shops at 25 West in the old building with the big yellow banners.  Inky Fingers is located on the second floor.  In addition to our store, there are many antique dealers and crafters displaying their wares and several great little restaurants within walking distance.

Ahh I finished July
Well, I did the July newsletter. it's always a challenge to put together next month's classes and info. It's even more challenging when I realize that I have Word 2007 and many of you can't open the newsletter. Thank goodness I have this website. At any rate, I hope our classes appeal to you and you take some of them. I especially like the scarf class because I just love seeing the variety of ideas and results. They are really fantastic! The kids classes will be fun to do to too.

Cheers

Recipe Club met yesterday. The theme was beverages and wow we drank several of them. They were quite delicious; however, as you may know I am not much of a drinker so I was a little tipsy. I had to stick around for a while so I could drive home. The recipes cards were very creative. Cathy used metal tabs from soda cans to create a belt buckle. She threaded ribbon through it...great idea right? Everyone did a great job. I think we may be adding some new members. I guess several friends of our current members have asked if they can join. Hey the more the merrier.

I love Thursdays
Thursday afternoons have evolved into a 3 ring circus. It all began with a few people coming in and pointing to some of our samples and saying "I want to make that." Now we have a variety of people all wanting to make something different. Today Andrea made a small graduation scrapbook using the bind-it-all.  Joanne made a book for a class reunion. Sherry played with our new stamps from stamp tapestry, Joanne joined her after making her book. Cathy and Cathy (yes, there were 2 Cathys) made the first half of the tote bag and accordion card...Bonnie guided them through. Loralee designed and made her ATC for stamp club...me I sat and watched it all. Lillian dropped in to say hi....FUN!!!!

We received our Crate Paper order today and wow is it great. We have 12 double-sided wonderful papers with coordinating ribbon and embellishments. We received some of the stamp Tapestry order and we are expecting the rest of the stamps maybe tomorrow. If you haven't been in the store this week we have a wide assortment of Vers Color cubes to coordinate with Rubber stamp Tapestry's pegs stamps...I just can't wait to play with them. I designed my scarf yesterday and really had fun..now it's your turn.
