Welcome to our web site!
Inky Fingers has been in business as a rubber stamping and scrapbooking store since 2004 and we pride ourselves on providing customers with outstanding service.  We offer a full range of rubber stamps and inks, scrapbooking papers, embellishments, adhesives, tools and other supplies.  We are always on the lookout for new stamping and scrapbooking materials and techniques not found in chain stores. Both novice and experienced paper crafters enjoy an ever changing roster of scrapbooking and stamping classes.  Our store is a friendly place to stop in, chat and maybe experiment with a new product.  Doris is usually on hand to help customers with ideas, techniques and new ways to express their creativity!

Where to find us
We are located in the historic area of Little Falls, NY.   Follow the signs from Thruway exit 29A to Canal Place and look for the Antique Center and The Shops at 25 West in the old building with the big yellow banners.  Inky Fingers is located on the second floor.  In addition to our store, there are many antique dealers and crafters displaying their wares and several great little restaurants within walking distance.

Happy Memorial Day

The store is closed today which provided me the perfect opportunity to write June's newsletter. I hope the class schedule is a hit...lately it's really been hit and miss. We shall see. I always like the classes but, unfortunately not everyone shares my enthusiasm (the story of my life). Bonnie is great at coming up with unique ideas and is a great teacher. Barb is really busy with her soon-to-be new grandchild making a quilt and preparing for the new family addition. I'm hoping once the dust settles that she'll be able to do some more classes. At any rate, I sure hope you like the classes.

Scrap club was fun. Bonnie showed us a paper weaving technique that is great for using scraps. We tried doing different patterns both by varying the weaving and also varying the paper patterns. Loralee did a smaller square to use as an embellishment or a background for a photo. There are so many possibilites for this technique. We then adjourned to the ice cream store and had dessert....ymmmm.

Today's my birthday
Well, today is my birthday...for the first time I'm actually feeling, I don't know what to call it, let's just say I'm acutely aware of my age. I sailed through all those birthdays that were supposed to bother me, but never did. I'm amazed that I find myself eligible for medicare...how the heck can I be 65 when some days I wonder what I'll do when I grow up? Lillian and Barb treated me to pie ala mode and coffee at the new store in the Antique center...oooh it was good! See, that's what's so nice about being older...I can eat sweets and just feel a little guilty. Imagine how it will be when I'm 70. Colonel Sanders started Kentucky Fried when he was 65...I was 62 when Inky Fingers was born...I'm just a youngster. My husband sent me beautiful flowers and is preparing one of my favorite pastas,,,clams and linguine for dinner...the worlds an OK place!

Catching Up
Well, I spent most of yesterday inputing addresses, however, I am missing quite a few. If you don't receive the newsletter, please e-mail me with your address.  I am so behind in everything it's crazy. My mother-in-law died this past week (she was a wonderful woman,,,the best in-law you could ever have). She was 97 and lived a long full life. We will miss her wit and wisdom. One of the good things about funerals is the family and friends getting together, not to mention the food. Lillian, Barb and Bonnie appeared at the calling hours. It was so nice to see them.  Well, enough rambling I have to get going.
