Welcome to our web site!
Inky Fingers has been in business as a rubber stamping and scrapbooking store since 2004 and we pride ourselves on providing customers with outstanding service.  We offer a full range of rubber stamps and inks, scrapbooking papers, embellishments, adhesives, tools and other supplies.  We are always on the lookout for new stamping and scrapbooking materials and techniques not found in chain stores. Both novice and experienced paper crafters enjoy an ever changing roster of scrapbooking and stamping classes.  Our store is a friendly place to stop in, chat and maybe experiment with a new product.  Doris is usually on hand to help customers with ideas, techniques and new ways to express their creativity!

Where to find us
We are located in the historic area of Little Falls, NY.   Follow the signs from Thruway exit 29A to Canal Place and look for the Antique Center and The Shops at 25 West in the old building with the big yellow banners.  Inky Fingers is located on the second floor.  In addition to our store, there are many antique dealers and crafters displaying their wares and several great little restaurants within walking distance.

Well, I'm off to the wholesale show. Hopefully I'll return with lots of new ideas and new orders.  The show is fun but very exhausting. This will be the first time that I'll be by myself. I will miss Maria....a lot...but, nonetheless, you've gotta do what you gotta do.  I am looking forward to the show. I have a whole day with Ranger including, be still my beating heart, Tim Holtz. Will blog when I get back.

What a fun day
I had a great day today. Well, other than goofing up the e-mail newsletter and having to resend it twice. Oh well, what can I say? I'm just not as sharp as I used to be. At any rate, today I did a class for the senior citizen group in Dolgeville. We did an exploding card and it was a big hit. I think everyone was pleased with their result. Cathy brought cookies, always a favorite with me, and then we went to the local coffee shop and continued the fun. My husband prepared dinner. How great is that? Oh and the professional cleaners are coming on Thursday to begin de-stinking our house. It does smell really bad. Wow this is a big deal...walls, rugs, furniture, ceiling, all of our clothes, paintings, etc. everything in our home has to be cleaned with special chemicals. It's a heck of way to do a spring cleaning. The good news is that I don't have to do it.

Sorry I haven't blogged since vacation. I came home to a mess. Our furnace exploded and we have soot everywhere. Our cat is freaked and the house reeks (a little rhyme to keep me happy). At any rate, we are working with our insurance company, estimators, etc. so I've been a little distracted. The store has been a real refuge...thank heavens...clean air and things to play with. Monday night's stamp club was really fun. We did a shoebox exchange.  I really enjoy seeing other peoples' projects and then being able to make them. The ATC's are proving to be really creative and wonderful. If any of you who aren't in the stamp club want to start swapping just let me know...I'm thinking we could start an Inky Fingers ATC swap group. I am working on next month's class schedule. We've got some really great projects and are going to be offering more Saturday and weekly night classes. Check out the Gallery page for pictures of some of the classes.

Checking out the local Scrapbook store
Well, I finally made it to the local scrapbook store. I was kind of disappointed. I didn't see anything that was new and/or different. Last year when I went there it seemed better. I spoke with the owner and was told all the stores in the Savannah area had closed. That's about 45 minutes away from Hilton Head. It's rather scary that so many stores have closed.  It's a tough business. In fact the owner asked me if I'd like to buy their store. I really appreciate all of your support. I am getting itchy to get home.

I don't want to make anyone jealous

Here I am in sunny and breezy Hilton Head. I haven't visited the local scrapbook store yet, but as soon as I get my butt off the pool chair I'll go. I'll let you know if I find any new treasures...I always find it interesting to see what other stores are doing. I steal ideas sometimes or other times just look. Will let you know what my sleuthing discovers. Meanwhile, I am thinking of you all, but am glad I'm here.
